llms.txt is a proposed convention for publishing a concise, LLM-friendly index of important website content. It is not a universal web standard and major AI/search providers do not all use it.
Why this matters
Some tools and agents may choose to use llms.txt, so publishing one can be a low-cost experiment. Its absence does not block normal crawling, search indexing, or AI visibility, and AuditHQ does not assume it improves citation rates.
How to fix it
No fix is required. If you want to experiment with the convention, publish a concise llms.txt that points to important canonical pages and keep it current.
