Video content detected but no VideoObject schema

VideoObject is schema that describes a video in a structured, machine-readable way, including its name, description, duration and thumbnail image. This check found video content on your page with no VideoObject schema describing it, so search and AI engines have no structured information about what the video actually contains.

Why this matters

Without VideoObject schema, your video may be less likely to be understood by search and AI tools, and the page may not be eligible for Google's video rich results (the enhanced search listing with a visible thumbnail and duration). The video itself may be excellent, but a machine scanning the page has less to go on.

How to fix it

Your developer needs about 30 minutes per video. Add VideoObject JSON-LD for each video with name, description, uploadDate and thumbnailUrl as the required fields, and contentUrl, embedUrl, duration (in ISO 8601 format) and interactionStatistic as useful optional additions. Start with your highest-traffic videos if adding this across every page at once isn't practical.
