Forms and marketing trackers load together on the same page
This check flags pages that have both a data-collecting form and marketing or advertising trackers loaded at the same time. On this site, a form was detected on a page that also loads marketing trackers, which means information a visitor types into the form can reach third-party tracking companies before that visitor has had any real chance to consent to it.
Why this matters
Running trackers on the same page as a form can send data to third parties as soon as the page loads or the form is touched, before any consent decision. Where privacy laws such as the GDPR apply, that pattern can be an issue, and regulators have acted on similar patterns. It can also erode visitor trust at the moment they are deciding whether to hand over their details. Check with a privacy adviser which laws apply to you.
How to fix it
Your developer should make sure marketing trackers don't fire until consent has been granted, which most consent platforms like Cookiebot or OneTrust handle automatically once configured correctly. For the form specifically, consider deferring tracker activity until after submission and capturing separate consent for marketing use of the submitted data. Expect around a day of configuration and testing.
