Multiple pages share an identical title tag

The title tag is the text shown as the clickable link in search results and in the browser tab, and Google uses it as one of its signals for understanding a page. This check looks for pages that share the exact same title tag. On this site, multiple crawled pages have an identical title.

Why this matters

Duplicate titles can make pages compete with each other and make it harder for searchers to tell them apart, and Google may group near-duplicate results so only one is shown. It may also make listings less compelling because the title does not describe the specific page.

How to fix it

Your marketing team or copywriter should give each affected page a unique, benefit-led title under 60 characters, for example naming the specific service, product, or location that page covers. This is a wording-only change and a classic quick win, typically fifteen to thirty minutes per page.
