No skip-to-content link for keyboard navigation
A skip link is a hidden link that appears when a keyboard user starts tabbing through a page, allowing them to jump straight to the main content and bypass the navigation menu. This site has none.
Why this matters
Keyboard users, including people who cannot use a mouse and screen-reader users, may have to tab through every navigation item on every page before reaching the content. This is covered by WCAG success criterion 2.4.1 (Bypass Blocks), which accessibility laws in some jurisdictions refer to. Whether such laws apply to you depends on your location and sector, so check with a legal adviser.
How to fix it
Add a visually hidden "Skip to main content" link as the very first element in your HTML that becomes visible when focused. Your developer can add this in under 15 minutes and it costs nothing.
