Explain the work location in careers and job listings
If either work-location finding appears in a report, the sampled careers content did not provide a clear remote, hybrid or in-office arrangement. The two finding IDs share this explanation because they lead to the same public task. Verify the actual role and listing before treating the observation as a gap.
Why this matters
Candidates need an accurate location requirement to assess whether a role fits. A general careers statement may be insufficient when arrangements differ by role. The finding does not measure application quality or prove that a particular work arrangement is preferable.
How to fix it
Confirm the actual policy with the hiring owner, then state location requirements on each relevant listing. For example, a fictional role might say: "Hybrid: three days each week in our Sydney office and two remote days; applicants must be based within commuting distance." Adapt the statement to the real role, including any geographic restrictions. Link the general careers page to current listings and check that their statements agree. If the organisation is not hiring, assess whether a public role-specific statement is needed before adding one.
