sitemap.xml has no <lastmod> dates
sitemap.xml is a file listing every important URL on your site so crawlers know what exists, and <lastmod> is the optional timestamp on each entry showing when that page last changed. This check found your sitemap lists URLs but includes no <lastmod> dates on any of them.
Why this matters
lastmod tells AI and search crawlers which pages have changed recently, so they know to re-crawl and re-cite the freshest content first. Without it, every page in your sitemap looks equally (un)fresh to a crawler, so genuinely updated pages get no priority boost over pages that haven't changed in years.
How to fix it
Your developer needs about 1 hour. Add a <lastmod> value, in ISO 8601 date format, to every <url> entry in sitemap.xml, driven automatically by each page's real last-edit timestamp rather than a static or build-time value. Most sitemap-generation tools and CMS plugins can populate this automatically once configured correctly.
