Open Graph image present but missing og:image:alt, og:locale, or og:site_name
Open Graph tags control how your pages appear when shared on social media - the image, title, and description in the preview card. Your site has an Open Graph image but is missing one or more of the supporting fields: the image alt text, the locale, or the site name.
Why this matters
Incomplete Open Graph data can produce inconsistent or blank link previews on platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook and messaging apps. A weak preview may make people less likely to click when your content is shared.
How to fix it
Add the three missing fields to your page head: og:image:alt (a plain-English description of the image for accessibility), og:locale (your language and region, e.g. en_AU), and og:site_name (your brand name). These are simple one-line additions to your site's head template.
