Social Footprint Audit
Profile quality, posting cadence, engagement depth, and brand consistency across 11 social platforms.
A social audit measures whether a brand has a coherent presence where its audience actually spends time - not just a Twitter handle and a stale Facebook page. AuditHQ checks 11 platforms for profile quality, posting cadence, engagement depth, and brand consistency. Every finding mapped to platform-fit rather than generic best-practice.

Every check verified against live data.
Grouped into 5 categories. Code runs every check against your live site - AI only writes the narrative around verified findings. Methodology is proprietary; the cards below describe what each category catches.
01

8 checksEmbedded Social Proof
On-site embedded feeds, video, social commerce (Instagram Shop, TikTok Shop), Pinterest Rich Pins, and short-form video CTAs.
04
2 checksHandle Consistency

05
5 checksAudience Fit
Whether your platform mix matches your buyer profile - B2B vs DTC vs local - plus visible content-authenticity and AI-disclosure signals where relevant.
Specific check definitions, regex patterns, and severity rubrics are not published. The output is a verified, evidence-backed report - not a methodology document.
Three things that quietly cost you customers.
A profile with a 6-month-old last post actively damages credibility.
Prospects researching a business who land on an Instagram with a 6-month-old last post draw a clear inference: this business has stopped operating, or doesn't care. Better to delete an inactive profile than maintain a dead one. The audit flags every platform where last activity exceeds the platform's expected cadence.
Cross-posting the same content to LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram is detectable - and lowers engagement on all three.
Each platform has a content format and tone. LinkedIn rewards long-form professional insight. Twitter rewards short hot takes. Instagram rewards visual storytelling. Posting an identical text block to all three signals "we don't understand this platform" and platform algorithms detect cross-posting and suppress reach.
Engagement rate matters more than follower count.
A page with 50,000 followers and 2-comment posts is doing worse than a page with 5,000 followers and 80-comment posts. Algorithms (and humans) weight engagement, not vanity follower counts. The audit calculates engagement rate (comments + shares ÷ followers) rather than absolute volume.
Instagram last posted 11 months ago - competitor posts daily
Evidence
Instagram profile @yourbrand: 1,247 followers, last post dated 11 months ago. Direct competitor @rivalbrand: 891 followers but posts 4-5x/week with avg 38 comments per post. Prospects searching your category on Instagram see the rival as the active option.
Recommended fix
1) Either commit to weekly posting cadence or delete/hide the profile. 2) If reactivating, post a 30-day batch first (don't post once and disappear again). 3) Update bio to reflect current positioning. 4) Pin a recent service/product post.
Business impact
For local and consumer businesses, Instagram is often the first impression. A dormant profile creates a "they're not active anymore" inference that loses prospects to competitors with active feeds.
Fictional example of the evidence, fix and impact structure. It is not a current report or a finding about your site.
