Ecommerce site with no Product schema - invisible to ChatGPT Shopping and Perplexity Shopping
Your site sells products online, but the product pages don't include structured data (machine-readable markup) that tells search engines and AI tools what each product is, its price, availability, and ratings.
Why this matters
Google Shopping and other shopping features commonly read Product schema to understand and surface items. Without it, your products may be less likely to appear in those features. Whether any particular AI shopping tool uses your schema is not publicly documented.
How to fix it
Ask your developer to add Product schema to every product page, including the product name, brand, price, availability, GTIN (barcode), and AggregateRating if you have reviews. If your store runs on an ecommerce platform such as Shopify or WooCommerce, check whether it already outputs this schema or offers an app or plugin that does.
